With a staff fully focused on customer service, it’s no shock Best Western Plus Omaha Airport Inn & Suites receives positive attention in the form of awards and accolades.
But lately that recognition has been coming at a rapid rate.
There are 286 Best Westerns in this district, and Best Western Plus Omaha Airport Inn & Suites ranks 19th. It was recently recognized with the Director’s Award by Best Western, an award only bestowed upon those that rank within the top 20 percent of a region.
Yet that was only the beginning as more honors and commendations poured in. Other district awards the property recently won include:
- Most Improved Service Overall
- Most Improved Property
Perhaps most exciting is the nomination of General Manager Mike Lindgren for Best Western’s Heroic Hero’s Award for Outstanding Leadership. This prestigious award is given to only one manager in the entire country each year.
His nomination did not surprise the staff.
“Mike pitches in and works with the staff to build positive guest relations,” Director of Sales Liz Deuling said. “Not every manager is willing to step in and help like Mike.”
Mike’s thoughtful leadership is one reason why Best Western Plus Omaha Airport Inn & Suites can boast such impressive customer service.
Another recent accolade is the 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence – an award that goes to hotels and inns which consistently receive positive guest reviews.
So many awards can’t be a mistake. Best Western Plus Omaha Airport Inn & Suites is indeed worthy of the recognition, largely because of its staff’s attention to the customer experience. It’s also why so many guests consistently return.
“People stay here and then tell their bosses, and then suddenly we have the entire company booking here,” Deuling said.
